Just another, not lemon but, lonely tree

"Never regret anything that once made you smile" - I read this somewhere and my emotional and rational personalities had to fight again. It could be "anything" or "anyone", but "anyone" is easier to debate about. Its direct meaning is obvious - if someone made you smile some day, do not regret when the relationship turns sour some other day.

Yes, it is difficult to connect back with the same closeness after either some tartness or a natural separation, but I feel earnestness can win anything. While I feel no void created by one thing can ever be filled by some other thing, if only everyone makes that effort to understand the truth rather than the externality, I think the voids themselves may cease to get created.

But if I've to analyze this crookedly, I'm not sure if this world was meant to be loved so much that you let a void be created in you. Even if it does get created, only you're responsible for it, because you let that happen. However the void itself may not be a bad choice compared to not having had that relationship at all. If the void happens, the only regret should be for having strained the relationship itself and surely not for having had it. Or maybe it is, if you're prepared to wage a lone battle.

  1. oh man .. too complex, my head is spinning or maybe I am just too sleepy at 11 in the night .. Either ways, remember that void and void * are not the same ;-) !!

  3. ..."lonely" tree? Ah, look at that view it has, do you think its feeling lonely? I guess not! :-) May be life's like that beautiful view if one is alone, but we'll never know. We've never been alove ever, aftr all. From birth we've been surrounded.. and we've needed those people too. We're human, and not trees, anyway, so may be the lone battle is not for us... I wonder. I love silence, but see how much I talk.. and type :-)

But with this pic, I wish I was born a tree.. And wish I was standing there alone, in that awesome spot.. not needing anyone!

Comment for the post .. yeah, the last paragraph in particular is complex, but as usual, thats the beautiful natural flow, ad I'd say, just keep it :-)

  4. "While I feel no void created by one thing can ever be filled by some other thing, if only everyone makes that effort to understand the truth rather than the externality, I think the voids themselves may cease to get created." - is complex because its abstract and high-level. The reader might be asking "What is the truth?" Beauty is truth, I know .... :P

"However the void itself may not be a bad choice compared to not having had that relationship at all. Or maybe it is, if you're prepared to wage a lone battle" - is complex because of the construct. Its beautiful, nevertheless. And I really dont expect you to dilute the punch in the last couple of lines that you always deliver :-)

    However,

  5. However, I agree, it was pathetic? Ok :)

  6. I deliberately tried to leave it less worded and complex, just so I don't throw clues for people to read my mind clearly. Unfortunately, Gopa, people like you are intelligent and they very well understand though they say they don't. And there are some others who dissect after having understood, and then tell why people may not understand :)

  7. If a reply comment itself takes tens of days, I wonder when your next post will be :-?

    Yours eagerly,
Someone who dissects and tells why people may not understand :-P

  9. lonely tree, lemon tree, or an independent tree... really depends on how one views life! all i read is just a play of words without really getting to the point because the writer does not really know what he's talking about or put simply...he has no point at all!
